This dynamic duo was married on a gorgeous summer day, surrounded by over 60 of their closest friends and family. Located in a beautiful and remote country setting, they were granted the freedom to turn this grass field into a gorgeous ceremony before sunset. Fur babies included!
The ceremony was romantic, elegant, and intimate as church pews lined the aisle with candles, rose petals, and crystals. With tears and smiles on everyone in attendance, the couple completed a fun and sentimental log-cutting ceremony before being announced Mr & Mrs!
The ceremony and reception was held at the Blessing Barn in Lafayette, IN. The venue offered a patio area for guests to gather for cocktail hour after the ceremony, which connected to a charming indoor space for dinner and dancing. I worked alongside two other vendors: a local Catering company and DF who was hired for the days' festivities.
The venue provided a blank space to allow the bride's vision for her big day to shine! The ceilings were draped with white sheer and lights that came to a point around a charming wagon wheel chandelier. Wisteria, roses, and vines dressed the chandelier, tables, and doorways to create an elegant and whimsical atmosphere. Each table had an arrangement of small mirrors, silver decor, florals, gems, and floating vases with candles.
It was my distinct pleasure to assist Megan & Bryan in preparing and conducting their exquisite wedding celebration!
Leading up to their big day, the couple planned all their own wedding details. I worked with the bride to create an extensive itinerary and detailed list of the expectations for floor plan and decorations, inside and out, from floor to ceiling.
The day prior to their wedding, I conducted the rehearsal with the bridal party, family, officiant, and DJ at a nearby hotel where the wedding party was staying. Afterward, a rehearsal dinner was reserved for the bridal party and family at a nearby steakhouse.
The couple and their wedding party were able to relax and enjoy the following morning getting ready at their reserved lodging, then completing the first photo session before ever arriving at the venue. During this time, I meticulously worked with the bride and groom's parents to unpack trailers full of decor and begin setting up fixtures. The venue was only available for the day, so setting up needed to be timely and thorough.
After the basics were in place, the family was able to retire to their hotels to prepare themselves for the festivities, while I finished setting up decorations and assembling the final touches.
I worked alongside the caterer, who set up a buffet-style dinner on the patio, and DJ who helped set the mood with lighting and enforce the itinerary via playlists and announcements.
Working diligently to coordinate all the details for their special day, the ceremony and reception was beautiful, comical, and "just as the bride envisioned. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to coordinate for this lovely couple and their family, as they prepared for this special moment & start of their next big chapter!
